Where to get an edger like this?

Can I take it from the lack of replies that you can't get an edger like the one in the OP here in Ireland?

How well do these ones work?

I've never seen the first type but I have one of the second and it does a fine job. I only need to use it once or maybe twice a year when the soil actually spills over the edge and forms a grassy mat. Thereafter I use a regular long handled lawn edge shears to clip the grass itself.
