Hi, doing some family history and I have located some information but I am stuck with "Glassloon" - dont know if this is Shinrone in Offaly or Roscrea in Tipperary. This is what is on my Grandmothers birth cert.

What are the district and sub-district details on the cert ?

these are usually at the top of the birth cert and labelled "Superintendent Registrar's District" and "Registrar's District". There should also be county and Union

There's a 'Glascloon' in Offaly, right near the border of Tipp, near Roscrea. Griffith's has in it Offaly, and it appears on the census in Offaly.
