You may be entitled to this if you donate platelets. Not sure though.

Thought clinics were in evening to facilitate working people. Bit like people going to dentist for routine check up during school day....

I donate regularly and clinics are always from 4.30-8.30. Can't see why you would need time off from school to do this.

To be honest your second post sounds like you are just looking for time off because your friends in the civil service gets time off.

It's not a medical procedure, you are volunteering to do it.

    You are hilarious

I want to donate platlets along with the other voluntary work I do in my "own time" 4 evenings per week.

And i was informed the platlet clinic only runs until 4pm.

However since i posted this I have rang the platlet clinic in st.james hospital and the clinic runs until 6pm some of he days, so i no longer need to take time off.

Its very upsettig and sad that we have pesimistic people in he world like you.

Cheer up and appreciate the good some people do in life, you never know your or your family might need our help some day.

You didn't specify platelets in your posts. You said blood. I can only respond to what was posted. I'm not a bit pessimistic. You may have missed where I said I donate. Have been doing so for 17 years.
