I was considering buying this for watching tv on a tablet. Does anyone know if they are any good or do you get the same selection of freeview channels that you get in the UK.

Any tuner dongle will ONLY pickup Freeview in UK/NI (or near border).

Because Saorview uses MPEG4/H.264 and HD without SD simulcasts, most tuner dongles will not work in Ireland (or at least not on all channels) on less than a quite good Laptop (GPU with H.264 and Core Duo or equivalent performance).

Also that TV Tuner dongle is massively overpriced. They are about €8 to €20, including postage.
