Have been following caroline hirons and find her skincare product advice great. Am looking for a similar "expert" for makeup products. I look at gossmakeup and pixiwoo but is there any other one I am missing? Cheers :P

    Hi

I don't know if it qualifies as a blog but I really like Sali Hughes' weekly articles in the Guardian - http://www.theguardian.com/fashion/series/sali-hughes-beauty

She used do weekly video tutorials which I found really helpful. Also what I like about her column is say if shes talking about Bronzers, she'll pick a high-end one, a mid range one and a cheap one. She has also started doing a weekly Q&A session on the Guardian website each Monday at 11.

    Hi
You could have a look at our own lovely Irish beaut.ie or have a look on bloglovin'.com or wordpress.com for beauty blogs.

Temptalia is great for product reviews. If you're tempted by a new release, she'll have the product graded and swatches/opinions on it (application, wear time, similar products etc).

In terms of general makeup, bloggers (and Youtubers) like Essiebutton, Viviannadoesmakeup, Lily Pebbles, Amelia Liana, Beautycrush, and Zoella are good if one of them is similar to your skin type and/or style.

Beaut.ie is good, especially for Irish release dates and prices. But it's not really a dedicated make up site. Vivaadonis is more beauty related (and also Irish).

Sharon Farrell is Irish, although she lives in Australia.
