passing blood.

    I bought a pup last week but when i got her home i seen that she's passing blood and mucus an her stools i have wormed her but it is still there she is 9 weeks old. Any advice please.

    Not trying to be smart but you should take her to the vet. At nine weeks old she could go downhill quickly. It could be colitis, a reaction to unsuitable food, giardia, lots of things. But you need to see the vet.

    did you change the food from what the breeder had it on.iv seen it happen several times.it will usually pass.it sometimes happens with old dogs also.for a piece of mind go to the vet

    I have her on the same food but for sardines i mix in with it. she past blood the morning after i got her. I'll cut out the sardines and see if it stops she seem fine otherwise.

    just seen this post now, i have a 5 year old Llewellin setter and anytime i change her food or give her cooked food i will get small bit of blood in her stools also, but perfect when sticking to the same nut....
