    Hi Folks

    I look after a club website and the club have a seminar organised for a time in the future. To promote this I would like to add a popup to the homepage of the clubs web site.

    I want the popup to
    • Display automatically
    • Contain an image which when clicked will go to a page where tickets can be ordered
    • Have a close button
    Any ideas what would be the best plugin to get to achieve the above?

    All suggestions will be very much appreciated.

    Thickbox is included in WordPress so you could simply reference that.

    Look at the "Inline Content" example and the "Show hidden modal content" example. You could trigger the opening of that modal box that when the page is ready.
    I am just guessing at the code below:
    jQuery(document).ready(function(){
      jQuery("#id_of_popup_a_link").click();
    }

    WordPress Popup does look good. I've added it to my favourites.

    Cheers all for the replies, much appreciated.

    I ended up getting Mow Pop. It's free for a single site license and done pretty much what I wanted.
