Hi guys, need some help picking out a new CPU and Mobo for my PC. Im also looking for a decent Hard drive, was tempted to do the reular 3.5'/SSD mix but cant afford it, so a singular 1Tb should cut it.

Now I do have a 460GTX, not a stellar GPU but can rough the job for the forseeable future, if you can suggest a decent replacement for a good price I wont turn it away.

    1. What is your budget? About €450, could push it a bit past €600 for the GPU if getting it now.

    2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? Games, in particular Borderlands 2 (and possibly The Pre-Sequel), AC4 (and Unity once it arrives), doesnt have to be running at Ultra level with 200fps

    3. Do you need a copy of Windows? No

    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? Case (Coolermaster Centurion 590), PSU (630 watts), 2 x 4GB DDR3 RAM, DVD drive (not that its needed much anymore). The 460GTX mentioned above.

    5. Do you need a monitor? No

5a. If yes, what size do you need.

5b. If no, what resolution is your current monitor and do you plan to upgrade in the near future? 1920x1080, no plans to replace it

    6. Do you need any of these peripherals? A nice gaming keyboard, nothing too fancy but no mechanical keys (the clacking would force me to rescind the "No" on needing a new monitor as keyboard would be smashed across it)

    7. Are you willing to try overclocking? Possibly

    8. How can you pay? Mastercard, Paypal

    9. When are you purchasing? Next week or so

    10. If you need help building it, where are you based? Dont need any help, 2nd build so have learned my mistakes before (plug in power line to CPU).

    Thanks for any help.

Might be able to get cheaper from hardwareversand

    I5 4670k
    Asrock z87 pro4
    Sandisk 128gb ssd
    Sapphire r9 270x

    515 euro delivered from amazon

Maybe get a vtx3d r9 280 x-edition for 35 pound extra, don't think you need much more though.

Also a hyper 212 evo or any decent cooler should be about 25-30 on top if over locking the cpu.
