    Hi
For anyone using the sky go app ,they have now removed all the irish channels from it. I have contacted them and they told me that all the channels are now the same here as in the U.K. On the app and have no plain to put the Irish channels back. Pissed off .

I assume by the Irish Channels you mean RTE & TV3/TG4 ?

I dont remember these ever being on Sky Go.

    Confirmed never on my android.

there have been a LOT of problems with SkyGo especially since the May updates, you would expect that bugs(rendering the app unuseable) would be resolved before updates are issued.

Customer support has also been poor which in my own experience is unusual.

Same same, never remember the Irish channels on either Android or iPad version, used to use AERTV for those, do have the pesky ITV's now that can't be watched, rarely use it anymore to be honest.

Customer service through there forum confirmed that a number of ROI customers did receive the irish channels on the ios sky go app in error for a number of weeks and in fact due to broadcast restrictions they are unable to provide these channels on the sky go platform.

I taught i was going mad and that i had imagined seeing them. I don't know what truth is in the statement above, surely if they can put the 3 irish channels on the sky tv platform here they should be able to supply them on sky go.

Update ..sky rep on twitter in contact and he is now saying the same as you guys that the irish channels were never on sky go. I must going mad I could have sworn i seen them there.
I don't have the need to use the sky go app that often .
So hands up i was wrong , it looks like they were never there. Oops.
But goes to show the kind of bull**** sky's customer service is feeding people.

You will need a UK Sky subscription to watch ITV channels on Sky Go

They have nothing to fix. You only see them via satellite as they are FTA.
