Thinking of getting few Golfs apps to help my game.

Any out there worth a go or would recommend?

Any out there that would let you know how far you hit the ball?

    thanks

I use 'swing by swing' gps course guide, has nearly every course for free mapped, and you just tap and lock, then walk to your ball to see how far you hit it.

Don't use it in competitions because it has a 'plays like' yardage for the wind.

Try Fungolf GPS 3D if you have an iphone. It is free at the moment. Seems pretty good and I think it can measure shots and suggest clubs etc.

UK Met Office App for hourly rain maps.

This is what I usually see when I'm planning a bit of swinging :)

Digging up a slightly old thread, but I just installed the Ubersense app on my phone. I know its been out there on Apple for a while, but it's only recently released for Android.

Its not a golf app as such, more a video analysis app, but it seems excellent.

You can reduce video down to 1/8 speed, compare 2 videos side by side & draw lines on the video to convince yourself you understand what should be happening with your swing ;)

Above are my first glance views, I'm sure that there are other things that I'm not seeing there available to do.
