Pick Up From Departures at Terminal 1

    I have to pick someone up at departures from Terminal 1.....

    Now, is this the way:

    Go under Terminal 2 and up the small hill and then that is the Departures from Terminal 1.

    Or am I wrong?

    You're right. It's very clearly signposted, you'd be hard pushed to go wrong tbh.

    But the area outside Departures is set-down only, and is fairly heavily policed by the Airport Police as far as I know. You won't be allowed to park up and wait for any length of time.

    I'll either head to that area just as they're coming out, or else park up in short term near there.

    Park up in omni or kiely's or Wright's. Get them to text you when they are ready and swoop in. More room in the coach park if they go through the car park and wait for you.
