Germany overcome argueably the toughtest game with little effort, no injuries and pretty comfortable.

Expect Low to put out the same side in the next tie, and then rotating for the final game after progression is all but guaranteed.

Suprised Klose didnt make an appearance. I wouldnt be overly suprised if he starts the next tie to get him sharp ahead of the knockout stages. PLayer of his intelligence and deft in the box could end up being crucial

Anyone watching the Portugal V USA match? Or, a foregone conclusion being the result. You'd never know ....... strange things happen. I fear Portugal could start an avalanche but am keeping quiet as the missus can get a little shirty when the good ol' US of A are on the back foot.
Time to pour the vino! :) Let the fight begin

Great entertainment. I'd have settled for a draw before the match ......... but after watching it I thought USA deserved a win. However, it's the result that counts - nothing else!
