Bosch Integrated Microwave Oven

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has experience of Bosch microwave ovens - model HLK4555GB. Microwave no longer heats up but turntable + other oven functions work fine - i.e. grill etc. Would someone know what part may be gone and can parts be sourced online - thanks.

my advice would be ring the retailer where you bought it for the number of your nearest Bosch service centre or he may be able to recommend a service engineer, its unlikely you have the tools to undo the cabinet, you can ask for a quote for the repair before work goes ahead and if you are lucky it may be down to a blown fuse or diode

Turns out it's the magnetron and some fuse also - total repair cost is €157- does this figure sound right to you the Red Ace?

I assume you brought it to a workshop but before you spend too much money on it get a diode and a fuse and try it again, the diode is between capacitor and the frame

Thanks, quote I got was from a local repair centre so I told them to go ahead on Friday with the repair actually.

Appreciate the advice though.
