    Hi all,

I am 26 years old and have been working in Vietnam for the last 2.5 years. I want to stay here for as long as possible but I also want to make provisions for my pension. I have tried researching this online but I haven't been able to find conditions that relate to my situation - ie expat outside the EU (and Australia), under 300 weeks of existing PRSI contributions, not planning on moving home any time soon.

Does anyone know if I can make regular contributions of a fixed amount in order to be entitled to a full state pension when I hit 65?

Any help would be very much appreciated.

    WH
