10 inch tablet with 1024x600 resolution. Worth to buy at all?

I bought the below tablet from amazon for 89gbp (around 110eur) shipped to Dublin. Only realized after reading reviews that 1024x600 resolution may not be the best and perhaps I would have been much better of spending another 100eur and getting a much better screen resolution.

I have received it but not opened it. If you were, would you just send straight back and get one with higher screen resolution for perhaps twice the money (around 200eur)?

Definitely, it's not a good spec tablet either. Spend the same money and get a Tesco HUDL (much better spec, amazing screen).

hudl definitely good spec, but OP bought 10" Tablet, perhaps wants bigger screen?? Hudl is 7".

This is worth looking at....has 3G also!!

Thanks for the suggestion. Looking for a 10" though.

Pipo M9 is a great tablet and i got it for about €159 last year from geekbuying, little slow loading but once its going it's cracking. Pity it got robbed a few months ago :-(

looks good too, spec top class, no 3G, but probably not so useful anyway??

It depends on what you use it for, but at 10" you're going to want at least 720p/1440x900. 1080p seems to be the new standard for 10".

Will the video be down-scaled to 480p?

I was hoping to at least watch them at 720p. Not a chance with a 1024x600?

Well I will use for light use - watching movies while traveling, some reading in bed, etc.

I've a lenovo thinkpad T430 as main laptop.
