I'm getting a colonoscopy and my doctor told me that the day before it I have to stick to a clear soup diet.

Does that mean powdered soup like Knorr QuickSoup or does it have to be transparent?

They mean a "bouillon" or "consommé" type of soup, i.e. something with no real bulk to it. Most powdered or quick soups wouldn't fit into that category. When I had mine done I had half a chicken stock cube dissolved in some boiling water in a mug. Not great but it's only for a day. If you want something a bit more flavoursome you can get tins of chicken or beef consommé in most supermarkets. Good luck.

Sorry but this is some thing you need to clarify with the doctor/hospital, cannot offer medical advice here
