Wrong details and they lost my forms. Help!

5 weeks ago after moving back here after studying abroad I signed on to jobseekers benefit. Since then I have received my new card with my picture but it is still not activated. I handed in all my forms 4 weeks ago at my appointment but then 3 weeks ago I was sent a letter with someones else's PPS number and asking to send in a form (that I have finished exams) which I already gave them. Once again I went in and handed in the form and explained to them what had happened, she just tore up the letter with the wrong details and said "thats grand, a typo" and that I will be sent out a letter soon.. I have waited 3 weeks, so I went in today and went to the information desk to find out, he told me that they are waiting on me to send in the form I had already given them twice! I told him I already handed this in and with his terrible attitude he told me to come back in Thursday to "sort it out".

Can anyone advise me on what to do here and what to say to them Thursday that will guarantee that there will be no more confusion?

I have been fortunate to get a job already but I am not to start until next Monday, my friends have sorted me with clothing for the job but I literally have 40 euro to do me from now until 2 and a half weeks from now when I get paid. I am worried that if I tell them I have gotten a job starting next week that they will cancel the whole thing and I won't receive a cent which would be a disaster as a genuinely need this money!

When you go in there on Thursday make a note of the name of the person you are dealing with and make sure they know that you've made a note. Bring any correspondence you've had with them. As far as I'm concerned you are perfectly entitled to go to the CWO for a SWA while your claim is being sorted out.

Thank you and will look into that.
