Couldn't think where else to post this, but if not appropriate mods, please move it - Thanks! Now to my problem...

I'm trying to compile a control chart in 2010. Calculated the data - no problem. Took me two minutes.

The pain in the arse is what should be the easiest bit which is the chart!! Can't seem to plot it properly. Comes up with odd lines which I can't get rid of, and not all the labels are shown, even though the headings were included when drawing the graph!!

Any idea where I'm going wrong??

Yes, you're trying to use Excel without proper training.

And you burnt out the brain cell telling me that? Thanks, but I was looking for genuine help, not lame attempts to be witty...

Ugh, excel charts. You'll have to right click on the chart itself and select the dataset and, for want of a better term, 'mess around' with the axes and labelling. Without seeing it, there's not much we can do...especially After Hours!

Also, over 6k posts and you didn't bother to use the search?

I'll refrain from posting my original witty response so. :(

If you aren;t looking for lame attempts at humour, then After Hours is definitely the wrong forum for you

OK start by double clicking on the graph axes - that should allow you to change the labels

Did you even Google this? There are tonnes of examples on google or youtube. Unless you're doing something crazy weird, you will find a tutorial easy

Ah now dude, I'm all for leaving these kind of threads open for a wee while despite them very clearly being dumped here by someone who hasn't looked for the appropriate forum, but if you're not willing to take the light hearted jokes with the actual help then it's best you find the right place for your thread.
