Avensis side indicator

Went to the car on sunday found drivers side indicator on the wing 04 avensis gone,ordered new one and got it only to discover there should be a connector attached to the wire that's left.Looked at the other side and there are 2 wires going to the connector but there is only 1 wire on this side.

That's odd. You obviously need 2 wires.

So I assume when they pulled off the indicator they managed to pull one of the wires out,even if I get the connector the wire is missing.

Did you have a good look inside the wing, maybe it came off by itself and fell down inside it.

I didn't look as would have to take off the whell arch liner but the indicator is the wrong shape to fall in id say.
