Banned for three days.

I was banned for three days from AH (my first run in with a mod) for starting a racist thread. While it was obvious which ethnic minority I was talking about, I did not pass judgement or speak overly bad about the people. I commented on what I witnessed in a light hearted manner.

I don't see how this topic is so racist as to warrant such a heavy handed approach. The Mod claimed that there is a 100% no tolerance policy for these issues but I've seen worse said in AH (the Dublin scumbag thread for example) which I wouldn't even consider was bad enough to warrant a ban.

Seeing as this is my first issue with you guys, I don't see why three days is appropriate.

    Hi Un Croissant,

After reading the thread in question, I find it difficult to ascertain the point of it. How exactly did you think it would pan out?

The charter is crystal clear on the issue and no doubt you've seen past examples been dealt with.

Saying that, you do have a good record. I'd suggest you contact the banning mod again. If an arrangement can't be met. Come back here.

    Thanks.
