Just got accepted for job seekers allowance 2 weeks ago. Picked up my first payment last week which was €12 or so short of what I'm entitled to, picked up it again today and it was what I should be getting. Probably due to the fact you don't get paid for the first 3 days of your claim, also 'Jobseekers week' runs from Tuesday to Wednesay afaik
