Returning to Ireland from UAE

Hi, I will be returning to Ireland after 2 years of working in the UAE. I am just wondering if there is any chance that I will be taxed on income that I receive here. I finish in 2 weeks and was planning on transferring money to my Irish bank account before I leave.
I read online that I shouldn't have to pay any tax as I was out of country for more than 183 days during the tax year but I'm still not sure.
Can anyone advise me on this? Thanks

The most important thing for you to look at is "split year treatment" and determine if you qualify for it. If you do then employment earnings from date of departure to date of return are not taken into account for Irish income tax even if you are technically resident for each or both of those years.
