    Nuair a bhíonn duine ag tagairt do fhear agus a chéile, níl mé cinnte cé acu seo atá ceart......Pádraig agus a bhean chéile ...... nó ......Pádraig agus a bhanchéile. Cén idirdhealú atá eatarthu nó an bhfuil siad inmhalartaithe? Míle buíochas.

    Go bhfios dom níl aon difríocht eadarthu, ach is é "bean chéile" an leagan coitianta.

    Is féidir "a bhean" (gan an focal 'chéile' ina dhiaidh) a rá chomh maith
