Looks like you are the first person to buy it. There are no reviews for it.

It's native resolution is 320 X 240. Dont be expecting too much as regards picture quality!

Ah jaysus I hate the projector.

Low resolution but could still be OK for casual use. I bought one before a good few years back, it was 60 or 70 euro I think, and it was beyond useless - picture quality on par with someone who needs glasses trying to watch TV underwater...without their glasses. Literally not usable.

    Wow, that's utterly terrible resolution.
It would be like trying to watch a "Minecraft" version of a film.

Cheap projectors tend to be very noisy too.

Bought this before committing to a more expensive version as I wanted to try them out but seems to be worth the risk as it is amazon so returning it will be a breeze if it is sh1te. But if it is half decent for 50 pounds can't go wrong!

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00J3YU4QO/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Not sold by Amazon so double check the returns policy.

I'd say 'half decent' is about as much as you could hope for tbh.

320x240 is below the resolution of even the cheapest and nastiest smartphone with a 3" screen. This also has a contrast ratio of 300:1 and a colour temperature of 16770K (whites will look blue) and a brightness of only 400 lumens. As for 3D... this is old school cyan/magenta anaglyph 3D, not modern 3D. I'm also going to guess and assume it'll have cheap optics that'll make the already paltry 320x240 image look even more blurry than it already is.

It's more useful as a torch than a projector tbh unless you set your expectations *very* low.

the resolution of 320 X 240 is almost 1/4 HD, so he could get 4 of them and line them up perfectly and as long as he's got a gfx card with 4 outputs he'll have a 1280x960 HD projector for £200! :D

Step 1 Turn all four projectors on
    Step 2 Become deaf

That'd be like getting 40 rabbits, taping them all together and painting them black and white because you can't afford a cow !!

We were given one of these as a gift last week.

I had it set up pointing at the wall next to a 32" HD tv. Once you pull back beyond that approx size the low res really begins to stand out.

It should be ok for the kids to watch a movie from a usb drive at the in-laws or on holiday but thats about it.

4 of them would only give 640*480, so he'd really need to be getting 16 of them for 1280*960.
I'd love to see a graphics card that could run them all though, that'd be a thing of beauty.

I want a full review of this .
A friend bought a cheapish one off ebay before.
was like a 747 taking off.
returned it and bought a decent one.

For a cheap but decent home cinema experience get the Epson ebso2h. About 400 euro in Argos.
    Great machine.

£225 on Amazon right now, so might be a good buy and cheapest it's ever been according to camelcamelcamel

It includes "TWO FREE RED AND CYAN 3D GLASSES" , I dont think it was the type of 3d you were hoping for OP.
