Ellehammer Luggage @ Super Value any good?

I'd say they may be ok, I'm collecting the stamps also & the prices seem very reasonable, the cases are pretty expensive if you buy them direct from Ellehammer.
I need to pick up a couple of cases this year anyway so will probably get one to check the quality, if it's good I'll pick up a few.

I examined them yesterday evening. They look ok and seem good value with the tokens.

I have a lot of spare tokens as the girl in my local store handed me a wad of them today. If anyone wants them let me know

Saw them only this week and like the 26" case I would need 8 tokens if you have them to spare. Thanks I live in Cork but have free travel if this helps

The problem with these luggage deals is if you plan to check the bags in, the world and his mother have them and it's fun at the luggage claim belt. Customisation is key ;)

And the amount of OLD Supervalu cases I can still see going around the conveyer belts is unreal. (Black with silver horseshoe type on the front) They must be 20 years old at least) I am a seasoned traveller 4 trips per year at least But they are still there,

Precisely what I was referring to. Almost got them at the time but was quickly glad I didn't ;)

Deffo Still have the small case as hand luggage. Fits cabin regulations, and in good nick.

So true. Customer came in and told me that she was recently on a Ryanair flight and so many people had the same carry on rollercase :P
We have sold LOADS of the backpacks too. People are mad for them.

I just bought the big black case for my trip next month. It's fairly sturdy and quite deep so I'm hoping it'll do the trick!

    Any spare stickers for these?

Just go in and ask for them :)

A lot of customers who don't want them tell us to give them to someone who does

i've come across a few sticklers before you wouldn't but thanks, good to know! :D

Ha! I hand them out by the reem....well, not really, but I'm quite generous with them. Why not? What's the point in giving them to the people who'll just end up throwing them in the bin? It's better to give them to the people who want them and who you know will actually come back and spend the money on the case...and maybe a bottle of wine and a few bits and pieces too ;)

Someone on rollercoaster.ie under "Bargains & special offers" discussion had 60 spare stickers, that was about 2 weeks ago but may still have them.

super-value running this again it seems- i was asked at the checkout if i was collecting tokens at the weekend: no signage in the store but its on their website.

As it happens I bought a bag in TKMaxx last week and its the same brand,

seems very sturdy and looks good - Ellehammer

I know I've missed the boat on this one but I'm looking for the Multi Carry Cabin bag (€25) with stamps. Supervalu are now doing a linens/towels promotion. Has anyone seen any bags left in their local SV - preferably Dublin North

You can pick up similar bags in Spain for €20. Bring your old unwanted case with you, buy a new one, then leave the old one behind. You can do this with your unwanted clothes as well....get one last wear out of them and then wish them goodbye.....

Damn good idea there Splash, definitely going to do that. Cheers

I got loads of these bags over the past couple of months. I loved the tablet cases so i got two. I got the back pack, cross body bag, hand luggage case, and small travel bags for swimming gear and things.

My local shop still has these bags left. Would they still accept the tokens?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,233 ✭✭✭jos28

    I'm SO jealous :D
AFAIK they will accept the tokens so long as they still have the bags in stock. What neck of the woods are you in Raptor ?

The cabin sized backpack is so handy, it's made my roller case of the same size pretty much redundant.
