An Post Keeping Parcel in Portlaoise

Hi all, I recently ordered some model kits from Japan, and the tracking number shows that it's been left in Portlaoise with the description; "Item Received", for a few days now. Usually my parcels come the day after showing up in Portlaoise. Any ideas as to why the parcel hasn't moved?

Your best bet is to ring AnPost customer care and ask them. The only two reasons that I can think of are that either the parcel may be getting examined by customs or the address is incomplete and they are trying to figure out where it needs to go.
