Dodgy touch detection on touch site

Recently I've been getting fairly dodgy touch detection on a Nexus 7 and it's on this site only. For example if I try to select the Thanks button to see who thanked a post it either thinks I've pressed Reply or the user name, 99% of the time.

I've switched on the Show Touch and Pointer in the tablets developer options and it's showing I hit the thanks hyperlink each time, so it's not fat finger syndrome.

    Any suggestions?

Edit, now that my post was moved to Site Development I see I'm having an identical problem as to what's described on this thread and video. I'm unrooted and no ad block software.

I have noticed this also on a Nexus 7. However I believe it is due to a Chrome update. Are you using the Chrome browser ThisRegard? There are other reports of this on Google's Chrome for Android forum:

Yeah, issue 2 seems to be what I'm experiencing. I only have the problem on the boards touch site, maybe it's because the links are quite close to each other or something.

It was really noticeable for me with the update to Chrome 35.0.1916.122. There have since been two updates, I'm now using 35.0.1916.141 and I feel that the issue is not as bad as it previously was.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
