    Hi
I've been on the dole the last 5 months and am shortly changing payments to the means tested one.
They are asking for 6 months bank statements,is there anything I wouldn't want them seeing on it.
I'm not hiding money as I don't have anything but I did make a payment to a dentist and a golf club(that money was from my previous job but it's gone now).
What will they be looking for ?

One of the reasons is see if you have more then €20,000 in it, over that then its cut back abit.

So they won't care what I spent my money on in the last 6 months even tho I was on a jobseekers payment which wasn't means tested.

It's just to see if you have any savings

Its your money ,spend it how you like, as long as you don't have over €20.000 in savings or unexplained cheques going in every week.
