    Does anybody know when 2014 back to school allowance is paid this year if u are automatically entitled to it

    I haven't got the letter yet but a friend got hers & it says payment will be made the week of the 18th July.

    Letters are being sent out this week if you are going to receive payment (payment date mid July 17 I think)

    Got my letter yesterday payment is being made week beginning july 18

    I'd say if you haven't got it by next week apply cos last year I waited till beginning of July and didn't get it till kids were back in school !
    Was happy to get the letter yesterday saying it was going to be in on 18th July this year !

    got my letter i was refused as im over the limit by €17.03. is it worth appealing or should i just give up
