Lads anyone know where I might get my hands on one of these barrels!

Looking for a very small one, 10 liter or smaller, preferably in the Midlands area!

I know its a long shot with the specifics, but might be lucky!

Want it for salting fish for mink bait, so that's why I'm asking on here!

    I don't think you'll get them in 10L.

I got 60L barrels from the local cheese factory.

Think the small one's are used in the food industry for food additives e.t.c, and maybe used to store chemicals for labs also, so used one's would be my best bet!

There is a lad always selling various sizes of them at Carnaross livestock mart, and various Sunday markets around about. must check if he sells small ones. you sometimes see them at kayaking clubs, people use them to keep clothes and valuables safe and dry while on the water. could ask a local club

Yea was thinking of one of those as a last resort! One of the 2kg one's might be big enough, but the top is a little narrow so making it awkward to spread the layers of salt out over the fish!

Another idea is those buckets with the screw in lids and rubber seal! Think the smallest is 5 gal, which would take alot of fish to fill it!

I cant remember where I saw it, but I did see a small one of those, about 2 1/2 gallons, containing Branson Pickles, or those Yellow Piccalily, in a sandwich shop somewhere.

Edit.. it was probably an Indian restaurant, if there is a busy one nearby, you could ask.....
