    Hi everyone,

How do photographers take sunset photos on Skellig Michael?

All the boat trips I've been able to research leave around 11am to travel there and arrive back around 3 or 4 in the afternoon.

I guess they could hire a private boat, but I'm pretty sure there are restrictions there with regards docking boats there. And it would be expensive. And a bit mad walking down those crazy steps in the dark. And coming back home on the sea at that hour of the night...

I'm going to go there soon, hopefully this month, but would love to get some sunset shots...

From What I heard, there's also a helicopter that can take you out.

Hah. It looks like a badly rendered scene from VistaPro from the mid 90's :-D

    Looks very unnatural.

I'm guessing that's deliberate ... hence the 'dream' reference
