Can anyone recommend a solicitor for a district court sitting this week, its a stupid drunk related offence and I wasnt going to get a solicitor but a friend told me it would look better if I was represented by someone.
I know its very short notice as the case is Wednesday, but if anyone has any advice please feel free to PM me or reply here, cheers.

While you are probably better with a solicitor there is no reason why you cannot face the case yourself if you have the confidence.
Are you going to plead guilty?

What is the exact offence? If a simple drunkeness one a plea of guilty and an apology to the court and to the arresting Garda may impress the Judge. Be able to say that you were never in trouble before, have changed your attitude to alcohol, give your employment status and be neatly dressed and won't reoffend. You may even get a strike out if the Judge is happy with you.

If its a drunk and breach of the peace stuff I would advise having a solicitor.
