Trigonometric functions?

    Hey guys I'm doing the SEC 2014 P2 sample and question 15 is about trigonometric functions and I've literally no idea what's going on? We've never done this in class and it doesn't even appear to be in my book (Active Maths 2).. If anyone could give me a link to learning this or even shed some light on wdf it means I'd be very grateful :L

    Ah, yes, we did this question in class and our maths teacher said it was ridiculous for higher level.
    Hopefully it won't come up again but I've no idea where to find it.

    I find these trigonometric functions really easy.

    . (a) Answer: False/incorrect
    Reason: tan 60° = 1.732, which is greater than 1.

    (b) Answer: True/correct
    Reason: sin 30° = 0.5, but sin 60° = 0.8.

    (c) False/incorrect
    Reason: cos 30° = 0.866, but cos 60° = 0.5.

    Check the attachment for part (d)
