Why do people duck down when entering/exiting a helicopter? I've seen even short people ducking down, the height of the rotors is well above even the tallest person.

I don't think this question has anything to do with the topics in this particular forum. Try the aviation & aircraft forum for a serious answer: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=905

Or after hours for a more "humorous" reply: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=7
