installing second meter in domestic house

    need to find out about installing a second meter into my house or some device which can read electricity being used in granny flat so we can split up the bills?

    Hi shamu2new,

    Thanks for your post.

    Normally in a situation like this, a new connection would be applied for through ESB Networks to get an additional meter installed. See here for details.

    Only with a separate meter installed would you be able to get the bills and usage properly separated. If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to ask.
