Does anyone know the best places, online or geographical, for getting old games and consoles? I'm talking PS2/GameBoy/DS old, preferably in the Cork area if physical location, cheers :)

You might be better off trying the Arcade and Retro Forum:

And the Arcade and Retro Marketplace Forum:

    Yeah.
Best split on these guys in the Games forum.
If it doesn't do HD and come in 5.1 dolby they don't appreciate it,
    Bloody Philistines!
Come to the A&R side, everything's better at 16 bit and in RGB!

I'm guessing you're already aware of Games Mania in Cork? They leant a bit heavily toward the expensive side of things, but they do have broad-ish catalogue of gear.

CeX in Cork city would also be handy for anything PS2/GCN. I've yet to encounter one in Ireland that takes cues from its British counterparts and stocks anything older than 6th gen stuff.

Again, dunno what you're already aware of, but that's the extent of what I know.

I think someone's definition of 'retro' needs a little updating

If it's the ps2/ds era you're looking for then CEX should be pretty good for you. If you want ps1, snes or older then you'll have to do alot more scrounging around online if you want to avoid paying over the odds at some retro game shops.

If you're just looking for personal use my advice is don't go crazy and buy everything, just get what you're actually interesting in playing. Otherwise you'll probably end up playing very little of anything!

Thanks, I looked at their FB page there, are they selling just online or do they have shops? (That might seem a bit stupid to someone who'd know them, this is the first I've heard of it) Oh don't worry I don't have enough money to buy much :L I know what I want anyway :)

EDIT: Just looking at a picture, I was in that shop haha, don't have what I'm looking for :( Although DS for E52 is the cheapest I've come across so far, where online would sell these games?
