I'll probably need to live around Dublin 8 while I'm in college there. Slight pain in the arse but can't be helped. I'll get good exercise cycling if nothing else.

Do many more people commute from south side of city or do people mainly live around campus?

Dublin 8 is a pretty easy commute to DCU, door to door in about 30 mins i'd say.

Yeah, it took 25 mins casual enough cycle there and 15 mins pelting downhill to get home. Might not be too bad.

I lived in Dublin 8 last year, got the bus every day in 25 minutes or so, wasn't bad at all. I know lots of people who are living further away.
