Tony " The Tiger" Thompson Vs Carlos Takram ( the guy that drew with Mike Perez ) is on soon. edit :Starting now

Takam scored a decisive UD in this one. Surely puts Perez's draw with him in a better light?

Anyone see Eubank(not the son) on Boxnation, brilliant.

No doubt about it, Chris Snr is something else.

He just attracts attention and loves it.

Junior has ability, but I think he's gonna fall into the same trap as his dad, he just doesn't throw enough punches.

He's an entertainer alright. Jr or Billy Joe Saunders who wins?

It's a very interesting one. I'm not convinced Saunders is quite as good as they reckon, but he's certainly very good at domestic level. If you look at his fight against Ryder (who is quite good) you'll see his true level, but Ryder made him work very hard for every round. Eubank won't do that.

Right now, Saunders on pts would be my tentative vote, but I think he'd be under pressure in the last few rounds - but it wouldn't be constant in-your-face pressure.

Hall's strength beginning to make a dent now in the 8th. He's landing more and harder now. Can he keep it going?

Almost everything Butler is throwing is hitting Hall's gloves. He's just dancing around hitting Hall's gloves at the regular.

Surely he can't be winning a world title like that.

This is going to be tight. Butler maybe?

How much of a joke is it that was for a world title

I think Butler is a world title fighter just not at that weight.

Imo your being generous. Two evenly enough matched fighters makes the standard seem a bit higher sometimes.

I'm finding it hard to understand how you can be so negative about that fight.

U dont understand . What im trying to say is . I dont think any of them deserve to be classed as a world champion. The fight was good to watch. Its just when i hear world champion the romantic in me does not picture stuart hall holding a belt.

    That's the problem. Romance.

Youtube is the enemy of the nostalia brigade. I'd say they wish it was never invented. Go look at some of the older 'greats' and you'll realise they're not quite as godlike as the rose-tinted crowd would like you to believe.

Stuey Hall will never be regarded as an all-time great (he's not), but when he got his chance he took it. And he had to do it the hard way. He won the title in a very, very hard fight, fair and square.

Im.not that bad haha. Look boxing is the most unfair sport i know. Id probably imagine there is dozens of mexican and asian fighters at bw who wont even get near a title shot. Who are better than these two. Its the luck of the draw i presume. Or more importantly who you know.
