I noticed there were threads from previous years where people discussed their FETAC results and what course(s) they were applying for in IT's and Universities. So I thought I would start a thread for this year.

I did a course in Business and was very happy to get a Distinction overall. I have applied for Commerce, Business Info System and Business.

    Which collages and years?

Hoping to get into NUI Maynooth.

When are results usually received? I didn't get provisional results from the college or any time frame for receiving results. I applied for Health and Nutrition for the Culinary Arts in DIT still haven't heard from them either. Me bleedin' nerves!

Did Fetac lv5 Applied Social Studies and got my provisional results, 8 Distinctions.

I'm a mature student hoping to get Applied Social Studies in Social Care in Carlow College. Was told offers to mature students will be out 3rd July but dont know if thats true or not.

I am looking for some advise, guidance maybe!

I did my leaving cert in 2011 and went to an institute of technology for two years before dropping out (it was a four year course, level 8)
Last year i did a FETAC level 5 Professional Cookery course, passed with all distinctions :D

I am very interested in the nutritional side of food but still have a great passion for cooking, mainly wholefood cooking and and would love to get into the area of healthfood shops.

I had applied to progress on to a culinary arts course in cit, but I have a feeling it might not be the right thing to do.

I just recently came across an applied biology, food health and nutrition course (fetac level 5) in csn
Basically I would like to know if this is a suitable course to do as a step towards the nutrition/health area
or would I be better off looking towards an institute of tecnology or university?

any advice/suggestions would be really appreciated!
