    Hi

I am manager of an apartment complex (55 apts over 4 floors) - its approx 15 years old - most of the carpets in the corridors are stained and we have tried washing them but still look bad.
We are considering replacing them - can anyone recommend whats the best options ie cheap carpet and get another 10 to 15 years out of it or go for contractors lino (very expensive)
Anyone know where to get carpet at wholesale price

Any advice opinions or suggestions are welcome

    Thanks

    John

Are you just looking for the carpet or are you looking for supply and fit ? And where are you based?

It depends on price - supply only would suffice - based in Mayo

For that size of job your contact might be willing to travel. It's worth a phone call.

For a job of that size it would make sense to draft up a basic spec (floor areas involved, type of finish, colour, any special details- stairs, door thresholds, upstands etc) call 4 or 5 flooring contractors and ask them to bid for the job, supply and fit. Tretford is used a lot in contract work like this although I'm sure there may be others. Ask your contractors to supply samples and compare.
