UPC contract cancellation

    I am considering signing up for a UPC broadband offer, where for the 6 months the contract is offered at a discounted rate, after which reverts back to it's original price.

    In a hypothetical scenario where after an indefinite period of time passes you wish to cancel payments for whatever reason and breach contract what happens next.

    Will UPC charge a once of cancellation fee or pursue you legally to pay off the remainder of your contract? Anyone with first hand experience of this would be great.

    Perhaps check their T&Cs. Usually it's a cancellation fee but their terms will clarify this.

    There is a 200 euro cancellation fee.

    I was charged €180 for the pleasure of cancelling with them.
