Just looking into buying a 2007 Kia Ceed crdi 1.6 diesel. Just wondering are they a reliable car and what are they like on fuel consumption. Kia dealer is also prepared to give me 1 years warranty also. So just doing some research.

    Any advice

They are a very good car, diesel engine is nippy too especially the 115bhp version. Fuel economy would be good for the class of car. 12 month warranty is pretty good for a car of that age.

How do I know what bhp the car is apart from asking the dealer? They come in 90bhp and 115bhp

Check the label either on the inside of the driver's door or in the boot where the power output in kilowatts will be listed, 90bhp is 66kW, 115bhp is 85kW. Afaik only the 115bhp was originally sold in Ireland but in the UK they sold both. I think the 90bhp was introduced as a lower emissions model. It's probably listed in the vehicle's log book too. The lower emissions model tends to be lower spec too.
