    Hi Guys,

    Having a new kitchen fitted and went off down to B&Q for advice. Very proffessional sales staff and very very helpful!

    I have an appointment for their guy to come measure/ design and do a free quote on the various styles i have picked out.

    Can anyway give any opinions on the quality, after service and installation costs etc? Only if you have actually USED the servce or if you have had a cheaper quote for the same kitchen etc.

    Looking for kitchen for new build at the min.
    Thinking of either B&Q or Cash & Carry Kitchens.

    Would appriciate any experiences anyone has had with either of them be they good or bad.

    B&Q. very expensive. Took a lot of time measuring up for them and designing with them! Very pleasant staff but very tedious and time consuming.

    They wont come out to measure up until you have sat with them at their computer to design your kitchen. Counter productive on reflection.

    Went to TJ o mahoney. Excellent!! Quality design chap. He CAME to me to measure up which took all of 5 minutes then worked out design plan. The guy really knew his stuff. Not just a trained staff member designing my kitchen from my (inaccurate) measurements on their computer. This was a professional designer. Came in a little cheaper too. Highly recommend them.
