    Hi guys

Have a problem with my laptop its a compaq cq58 on after logging in i keep getting a blue screen saying system has to be restarted and giving errors like,
Kernel data inpage error, system service exception.

It starts in to safe mode ok but i have tried a refresh and a reset and they just fail, also after an attempted refresh it ran a repair on the hard drive ran for about 2 hours but still is not giving me anything past the login screen.
i was in the system diagnostics and ran a hard disk check and a memory test and they both came back as passed, so i'm a bit stuck on it now.
    thanks

I ran it and it repaired files, i'm getting a smart harddisk 301 error now so, I presume the hard disk was dying and it is gone now as its not booing at all? would that be right i have everything backed up will i def have to go change the hard drive now?
