hello guys got a few ibc tanks recently with the intention of using them for cattle to drink water off.I stupidly never thought of looking into the tanks at time of sale as i assumed they would have been fit for comsumption.they look clean but I don't want to take any risks. What would ye use to give peace of mind. I was thinking vinegar and water and then washing up liquid and water but would like opinions what to do

What about the stuff they use for milking machines - chlorus - is that whats its called? (Jester is in my mind as well, but that could gone off the market with 30 years now, since I seen it last) ;):p
Then I'd connect up a small pipe to a stream or river if you had it, and let the water run them for a few days, to further clean em out.
