New Stephen King Novel - Mr Mercedes

    Anyone read it yet? I'm due to read another King novel soon so may read this one next. Sounds like a bog standard police procedural, new territory for King? Looking forward to see the results.

    I'd like to get some opinions too. I've downloaded it but already have a few books in the 'to read' queue. I usually enjoy King, I just wish he had generally better endings!

    Just read this, it's decent enough but I expected something better from King. This felt like it was put together over a long weekend. I've heard it's going to be a trilogy also.

    I finished this a short while ago. Very middle of the road; it felt like it was written to be turned into a moderately successful film.
