About time. I've been using unofficial ones until now that worked grand for ff8 but haven't tried them on anything else.

I'll stick with my €20 360 knockoff for the time being. Actually works a charm.

Too little too late - Already have plenty of Xinput controllers around and fan made drivers everywhere. That said, I've not touched the new XBOX controllers... is there any significant improvement? I've heard good things about the DS4. Still, none of them could have anything good enough to make me ditch my DS3 which is working grand with the Xinput drivers... not for their usual €50 price tag.

I'm confused. I bought a 360 controller a couple of weeks ago and it came with a driver disk for Windows.

Edit: Duh, XBox One... I'm clearly not awake.

I've used the XBone controller, credit where it's due, I think it's a nice step on from the 360 one (which I also find a pleasure to use, D-Pad notwithstanding). It's not quite perfect, and I don't know if I could put my finger on what's missing - I had this same conversation with a friend of mine yesterday when we saw the official drivers were out.

I've not had a chance to play with a DS4 controller yet though - is it still BlueTooth like the DS3?

Tried this quickly last night. Installed the driver and plugged in my Xbone controller. One problem is that the controller turned on the Xbox One when it connected to the PC, but was still connected to the PC thankfully. Bit of a bug there i think.

So shut off the Xbox One and then had a quick go of Transistor and everything worked just fine.
