redundance from employer side

    can anybody tell me does my employer get re-embursed or tax break if they pay me a redundance payment?

    whats is the story of paying a redundance from an employers side. is there any sites i can find info?
    i cant seen to find any info from the employers end of it.

    The Employer Rebate was removed from 1st Jan 2013.

    So the full burden of payin my redundancy would lie with my employer?
    Ie. If i recieved 10k lump sum as payment then my employer would be 10k out of pocket? Is there any way employer can write it off against tax ect?
