Sheep fencing in new TAMS

    Grapevine has it that sheep fencing is to be removed from the new TAMS scheme. Don't know how "decided" they are on that, but it's doing the rounds. If ye are thinking of fencing in the future, rattle some political cages now. I'm under 50 ewes so I don't qualify anyway :rolleyes:

    Think the new TAMS scheme will be more or less for dairy farmers for the first year or two.Makes sense really as whats the point of someone gearing up for quota ending in 2015 and not getting the approval for grant aid till maybe 2019.

    They will be the big spenders in farming in 2015 and 2016 so prioritising them for the first year or two is only fair.
