Contact the Esb or bord gais and they will give you one for free. They want you to have access to your meter in case you need to turn the gas off for safety reasons

I ended up going to Derry Taheny's as I needed one quickly and didn't have time to wait for the ESB. It was only €1.50 so probably cheaper than the phone call anyway. Thanks again!
